My Story
Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Originally from the North, I was drawn to the South to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the College of Charleston, and later earned my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. Over the past 10 years, through my work as a nanny, I assisted diverse families through everyday challenges. I’m passionate about supporting couples and individuals as they navigate early adulthood and parenthood. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m trained to think systemically—viewing clients as part of a larger system to foster self-empowerment. Together, we’ll work to create your unique, preferred outcomes.
Who my services are best for
I work with couples and individuals interested in a collaborative approach. My clients know their stories, and through our time together, we can uncover dominant narratives and relational patterns. I specialize in couples navigating parenthood, who seek additional support to improve and adjust communication patterns. In our individual sessions, we can explore themes of anxiety and depression, as well as navigate conflicts within interpersonal relationships.
